Levy County man charged for sexual battery of teenager

On June 7, 2021 Detectives responded to the home of William Alfred Brown (4/17/66) on 91st Terrace in Bronson. Detectives learned that Brown sexually battered a child who is older than 12 but younger than 16. Brown was arrested and is being held in the Levy County Detention Bureau in lieu of a $750,000.00 bond. On June 12, 2021 Detectives responded to the home of Kevin Randall Shryock (5/3/84) on 40th Street in Morriston. Detectives learned that Shryock sexually battered a child older than 16 but younger than 18. Shryock was arrested and is being held in the Levy County Detention Bureau in lieu of a $525,000.00 bond.

A Citrus County Sheriff’s Office deputy was arrested on accusations he maliciously texted photos of a woman’s genitals to both her and a federal agent. Jonathan Seffern Jr. was arrested Friday, June 11, in Levy County on a Citrus County warrant charging the Citrus Springs 33-year-old with a first-degree misdemeanor of sexual cyber-harassment, according to arrest and court records.

Williston man killed in head-on collision in Levy County

LEVY COUNTY, Fla. — A 76-year-old man from Williston died Thursday evening in an accident between two pickup trucks. The man was driving westbound on SE Second Street approaching a curve in the road, according to a report. As the man continued around the curve, he drove into the oncoming lane of traffic.
