Complaints by Maryland drivers who claim they were overcharged for tolls are confirmed in a new state audit obtained by the 11 News I-Team. Because the state conducted limited research on the issues, auditors believe the scope of the problem is much bigger. Morning Bus Delays Left Students Waiting for an Hour at Stops

Amid a nationwide bus shortage, students across the county waited as long as an hour in the rain for their morning school bus to arrive. Wayde Byard, the school district’s public information officer, said that there was an unusually high number of bus driver absences, exacerbating a long-standing issue in the county. About 30% of the general education and Thomas Jefferson High School bus runs were 45 minutes, and Academies of Loudoun routes ran as long as an hour behind schedule.

(LEESBURG, VA) Depending on where you fill up in Leesburg, you could be saving up to $0.26 per gallon on gas. On Saturday the cheapest gallon of unleaded regular in the area was at Leesburg Gas & Go at 344 E Market St. Regular there was listed at $2.93 per gallon Wednesday, compared to $3.19 at Shell at 40636 Charles Town Pike, which GasBuddy clocked as the most expensive station in the area.
