Loyola rallies for its third win after spotting Georgetown Prep six

On the road in Bethesda, Friday, Loyola Blakefield spotted Georgetown Prep, a one time MIAA A Conference football rival, a 6-0 lead and then stormed back for a 24-6 victory. Georgetown Prep was a football affiliate member of the MIAA for six seasons, from 2005 thru 2011, and played in the A Conference with the Dons. Loyola is now a member of the MIAA B Conference after spending two seasons playing an independent schedule and has continued to play the Little Hoyas, on occasion, over the last decade.

Kansas City NWSL are in Leesburg, Virginia to face the Washington Spirit this afternoon. Both teams have not played in a while but for different reasons. Kansas City last played on September 5th and had the international break off.
