Man convicted in 1999 kidnapping, rape of woman in Warsaw

WARSAW, Ind. (WNDU) - A California man has been convicted in the Kosciusko County Superior Court in a 22-year-old kidnapping and rape case. Rodriguez Todd, 53, of La Mesa, Calif., was convicted after a three-day jury trial for kidnapping and raping a Logansport woman on Nov. 23, 1999, in Warsaw.

GOSHEN — Two Goshen men have been sentenced on child solicitation charges that arose from amateur sting operations. James Nissley, 51, and Adan Limones Diaz, 26, were arrested during separate incidents in December 2021 and this past July. Both Warsaw and Wawasee competed at the NLC Tennis Championships at NorthWood Wednesday and Thursday. Both schools were able to send players into the semifinal round. Wawasee’s No. 1 singles player Joey Harper won his opening match 6-1, 6-3 before falling in the semifinals. Warsaw’s No. 2 and No. 2 singles players Ted Grandon and Keller Bailey also made the semifinals before dropping their matches to opponents from Northridge.
