Mankato parks partially closed due to high river levels

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Two Mankato parks are temporarily closed due to the high river levels. Land of Memories Campground will be closed, while the Floyd Roberts Jr. Pavilion and the disc golf course will remain open. Kiwanis Park trail from Highway 14 to the dog park will also be closed.

Fairmont woman injured in crash on Highway 169, 68

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - A Fairmont woman is injured in a crash at the intersection of Highways 68 and 169 just outside Mankato this morning. The crash happened just before 10:15 Thursday morning when a car driven by 75-year-old Karen Flesner of Fairmont was crossing from Highway 68 to 169 when it was hit by a southbound car driven by a 22-year-old Cloquet woman. She was not injured.

Owatonna High School Announces Athlete of the Year Finalists

The Owatonna High School Activities Office announce the top three finalists for senior and junior, male and female, athlete of the year. Those 12 will be recognized on Wednesday, May 25 at 5 pm at a ceremony at the high school. Other awards will include the 110% honor, O-Club members, and the Minnesota State High School League's Triple 'A' and ExCel recipients.
