Wisconsin COVID activity reaches levels last seen in February

Coronavirus activity is rated as “high” in all but one Wisconsin county. That one–Milwaukee County–is rated as “very high”. The state Department of Health Services reports 1,180 positive tests on Wednesday–raising the seven day average to 902. It’s the first time that average was over 900 since early February. The positivity rate remains at 7.2%. There were three more deaths reported–bringing the statewide total to 7,450.

A flight instructor was killed in a plane crash that occurred just west of the Hartford Municipal Airport within an hour before noon on July 31. According to information from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:22 a.m. July 31 county dispatchers were contacted regarding a plane crash in a corn field west of Cty Tk U and south of Arthur Road in the Town of Hartford.
