Walmart to open second high-tech consolidation center

Walmart is expanding on its model of an automated supply chain facility for receiving, sorting and shipping freight. In August 2022, the discount giant will open a high-tech consolidation center in Lebanon, Pa. The new 400,000-sq.-ft. facility’s automated technology is designed to enable three times more volume to flow throughout the center and help Walmart deliver the right product to the right store, so customers can find the products they need, according to the retailer.

Upperman High School Running Well Amidst High Student Capacity

Upperman High School starting the school year at 107.3 percent capacity, but that doesn’t mean the school is bursting at the seams. Little Sunshine’s Academy, a new licensed daycare opening in Carthage, will be hosting an Open House Friday, August 26th from 1 -5 p.m. The facility is located at 117 Eatherly Road in Carthage. In their phase 1 opening LSA will have room for 48 children in 4 classrooms. They will be enrolling children 30 months old to 6 years old. Middle TN Woman Missing for Over One Month - Last Seen in Smithville, TN Area

A full month has passed since 31-year-old Brittany Ann Miller was reported missing in nearby DeKalb County, Tennessee. The search for Miller was spearheaded by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, where Sheriff Patrick Ray said deputies have searched by ground, air, and on Center Hill Lake. However, there have been no signs or clues in locating her. An investigator of the District Attorney General’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are assisting in the case.
