Findlay OSHP trooper dies in line of duty

FINDLAY, Ohio (WTVG) - An Ohio State Highway Patrol sergeant has died in the line of duty. According to a Facebook post made by OSHP, Sergeant Jared M. Ulinski of the Findlay District was found deceased at the Findlay Post while on duty. Sergeant Ulinski joined the Patrol in June 1999 as a member of the 134th Academy class.

Two teens arrested in juvenile’s death at Lima hotel

LIMA — A pair of juveniles was taken into custody Friday afternoon in the shooting death of a 15-year-old Columbus boy Thursday at a Lima hotel. Nizear Scales, 16, and Lu’Quantae Bagley, 17, were charged with suspicion of murder, according to Major Andre McConnahea, of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office. Both are being held at the Allen County Juvenile Detention Center.

Business opens in Lima specializing in false eyelashes

LIMA — A new business is opening in Lima, specializing in false eyelashes. “It started with me launching my own lash line in 2017,” said Tavonna Pritchett, co-owner of Celebretee’z Lashti’Qu3. “I always said that I wanted a storefront. So my mother and father passed away. My mother passed in 2019, my father in 1995. So I’m an only child and I always told my mom that I would make this vision come true and I finally did.”
