Conrad’s Working Up A Hunger

This Wednesday's the day for the 2022 End Hunger Mini Triathlon at Conrad Pool Park. The "games" are for ages 5, to 14, & they'll begin promptly at 4, Wednesday afternoon. Missoula Mayor John Engen Passes Away After Battling Pancreatic Cancer

On Monday, August 15, the City of Missoula announced that five-term mayor John Engen passed away after suffering from pancreatic cancer. Engen, 57, was born and raised in Missoula, went to Whittier Grade School, and graduated from Hellgate High School. He attended the University of Montana, where he received a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

A Black Woman’s West

The book I'll have up for grabs tomorrow, Saturday morning, at 7:30, on Puff Man Sports Trivia's, "A Black Woman's West-The Life of Rose B. Gordon." It's the true saga of Rose Beatrice Gordon (1883-1968,) born in the Barker mining district of central Montana Territory. Rose was the daughter of an African American chef & an emancipated slave who migrated to the West in the early 1880's. It's a grand tribute to Rose, who lived most of her life in White Sulphur Springs. Author Michael Johnson has truly found Rose Gordon's "voice," & "ALL Montanans should applaud," according Montana historian, Ken Robison. Conrad Cowboys Set For Missoula

The Conrad Cowboys 1st game of the season is 2 weeks from this weekend, when they travel over to Missoula. The Cowboys will play Missoula Loyola on Saturday night, the last Saturday of the month, the 27th. Missoula Police Arrest Man for Indecent Exposure

On August 8, 2022, a Missoula Police Department officer was dispatched to a report of a man, later identified as 40-year-old Anthony Charlie, allegedly masturbating near Missoula Correctional Services. The 911 caller said Charlie was trying to get inside the building. Police Public Information Officer Lydia Arnold picks up the story.
