Meth Possession Results In Three-Year Sentence

WARSAW — A Cromwell woman will serve a three-year sentence locally after being found in possession of methamphetamine while in the presence of two children. Kelsea Leigh Carver, 25, 11918 N. Sir Gallahad Place, Cromwell, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 5 felony; and neglect of a dependent, a level 6 felony. Four additional criminal charges, as well as two additional methamphetamine possession cases, were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

Nine-Year Prison Term For Gun, Meth Charges

WARSAW — A South Bend man will serve nine years in prison for three criminal cases. In the first case, Corey M. Dains, 38, South Bend, was charged with dealing a narcotic drug and carrying a handgun without a license with a prior conviction, both level 5 felonies; and resisting law enforcement, a level 6 felony. He was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; and carrying a handgun without a license with a prior conviction, a level 5 felony, in a second case. In a third case, Dains was charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; resisting law enforcement, a level 6 felony; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a class C misdemeanor. Eighteen additional criminal charges were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

Roann Woman Sentenced For Dealing Meth

WARSAW — A Roann woman will serve three years in prison after a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of 49 grams of methamphetamine. Jessica Adrianne Hall, 29, 7432 W. River Road, Roann, was charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 3 felony. Two additional criminal charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
