University of Tennessee at Knoxville will raise minimum wage to $15 per hour

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville will raise its minimum wage for campus workers to $15 per hour starting in January, UT System President Randy Boyd announced Thursday. UT Chancellor Donde Plowman added that there will be adjustments to existing wages moving up the scale as well. The raise will apply to UT's regular, permanent employees.
