Two Mega Millions Tickets Worth $1million Each Sold in NH

Friday night's Mega Millions drawing had two million dollar tickets sold in New Hampshire. The winning numbers were: 17-21-27-43-56 Mega Ball 15 and Megaplier 3X. Neither of the New Hampshire tickets played the Megaplier which would have increased their winnings to $3 million. Both of these winning tickets were sold via the online sales platform, NH iLottery, according to spokeswoman Maura McCann.

Dracut Woman Arraigned For Allegedly Torching 2 Police Cruisers

DRACUT (CBS) — A Dracut woman was arraigned in Lowell District Court for allegedly torching two police cruisers last week. Alicia Burley, 43, pleaded not guilty on Friday to charges of burning a motor vehicle and trespassing. Dracut Police announced the arraignment Friday night. Burley has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation, but was released on personal recognizance. The fire took place on September 15. The Town Crier will be featuring archive anniversary stories on WHS Fall Varsity league championship teams. Back in 2006, the WHS Football team shared the league title with Masconomet after finishing the Cape Ann League with a record of 8-1 and an overall record of 9-2. The team’s two losses came to Belmont in the season opener, a non-league game, and then to Masconomet, who later lost a league game resulting in the co-championship title.
