KEYSTONE, S.D. (KOTA) - 10:43 p.m.: Authorities say a man trapped in a dirt trench southeast of Keystone has been freed. At 5:25 p.m., the victim was removed from a 10-to-12-foot excavation trench on private property on the 2000 block of Nellie Lane in unincorporated Pennington County, according to Pennington County Fire Service.

Reminder: Water Restrictions Remain in Effect for City Residents

RAPID CITY—City officials remind the public that water restrictions remain in effect. The annual mandatory water conservation measures went into effect June 1. No watering is allowed between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. Homeowners with odd-numbered addresses are allowed to water on odd-numbered calendar days. Homeowners with even-numbered addresses are allowed to water on even-numbered calendar days. No outside watering is allowed on the 31st day of any month.
