Roughly 70 residents of Roy’s Trailer Park on Stock Island have filed a lawsuit challenging the proposed demolition and redevelopment of the park, citing they have a lease that runs through 2027. Two men plead in local fraud case

Two Key West men who bilked millions of dollars from local investors in a financial scheme have pleaded no contest to felony fraud charges and will be sentenced in October. Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a 37-year-old Sugarloaf Key man Tuesday, Aug. 16, after he reportedly threatened another man and his mother with a machete during a dispute.
