The 50th Summer Games, sponsored for the 26th consecutive year by DuPont, is Special Olympics Delaware’s largest sports event. Delaware Sees Lowest Number of COVID-19 Cases Since August

DOVER, Del.- The Delaware Division of Public Health on Friday night provided an update on the most recent statistics related to COVID-19 in Delaware. A total of 108,681 positive cases of COVID-19 among Delaware residents have been reported to DPH since March 11, 2020. The seven-day average of new positive cases decreased to 74.1 as of Thursday, May 27.

State launches Covid vax incentive effort that includes a $302,000 lottery prize

DE Wins!, a public education and incentive program aimed at increasing Covid-19 vaccination rates in Delaware was launched on Tuesday. The promotion comes as other states, including neighboring Maryland launch similar promotions in efforts to reach a goal of having 70 percent of the population get at least one dose of vaccine. The figure is now around 52 percent.
