Lil Uzi Vert’s Artist Lotta Cash Desto Reportedly Shot and Killed

Hip-hop fans are mourning the reported death of Lotta Cash Desto—a rising Memphis rapper who worked with Lil Uzi Vert. According to FOX 3, Lotta was shot and killed early Saturday near 5500 Richmond Ave. in West Houston. The incident reportedly took place at around 2:30 a.m. local time while Lotta was driving a Porsche SUV with at least one passenger. Once they arrived at the scene, police found two women with gunshot wounds inside the vehicle. One of the victims—presumably Lotta was immediately pronounced dead; while the other woman was transported to the hospital.

Houston Man Arrested for Alleged Terrorist Threat on the Fort Bend County Fair

HOUSTON, TX -- A Houston man who allegedly threatened the Fort Bend County Fair on social media has been arrested by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. On Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, the Fort Bend County Emergency Communications Center received a 9-1-1 text message advising that an unknown person had made an Instagram post which appeared to threaten the County Fair. The post was widely shared on Instagram and caused alarm to the Fort Bend County community who observed the post.

Two people were shot at an apartment complex in north Houston while enjoying a few drinks outside

A shooting occurred just after midnight at the Avenue Terrace apartment complex in northside Village. According to Lt. Pavel of the Houston Police Department, officers responded around 12:05 a.m. police were called to a disturbance at Avenue Terrace locate at 4004 Irvington Blvd. The officers that responded to this disturbance were flagged down for a separate shooting in the apartment complex in the parking lot, behind building three.
