Mother and Daughter Dead in Murder Suicide

Westport woman and seven-year-old daughter were found dead in their home on Thursday. 46-year-old Tracy Do and her daughter, Layla, were discovered around 4 pm in their Westport home. According to the Westport Police Department's Facebook announcement, Layla had been drowned, and Do had killed herself from “sharp injuries of torso and extremities”.

Plane Crash Mystery Finally Solved

The California lake drought has revealed some interesting findings from the 1965 crash. The plane was found in the nearly empty Folsom LakeKTXL. As the lakes dry out in the California heat, they’re beginning to expose their secrets. The Piper Comanche 250 went missing on New Year’s Day 1965 with four people on board. The pilot’s body was found, but the three passengers were lost to the unknown.

Karina Holmer was discovered in a dumpster, but only half of her has ever been found. Boston, Massachusetts in 1996 was a very different city. The Boston Police Department was struggling with youth violence, specifically the use of guns and homicides. The Boston Gun Project Working Group had begun to meet in January 1995, but Operation Ceasefire had only been implemented a year later in January 1996. There were still attacks around the city, but ultimately, the streets were safer, with a significant decline in homicides that year.

Two Cases Solved in Union County

According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, two murders and an attempted murder have been solved. Cedrick Woods and Quenterous Jeter have been arrestedFox Carolina. The first case was two shootings. The attacks both took place outside the victim’s separate homes, one being Cornelius Crawford of Horseshoe Circle and the other, Christopher Rhinehart of Haas Street. He was killed less than an hour later in the early hours of the 16th of April 2015.

20 year old Murder Case Closed

It took two decades to convict the new father’s murderer. Gregory Collins was shot and killed in his car while driving home from work at Eastern Correctional Institution. Around 4 pm on the 4th of June 2001, Gregory was reported missing when he didn’t return home from his shift at the facility.

The double murder in Great Falls has finally been solved. Patty Kalitzke and Duane BogleCorpus Christi Times 1956. 16-year-old Patty Kalitzke and her boyfriend Duane Bogle were murdered in Great Falls on the 2nd of January 1956, and their case has remained unsolved, until now.
