He was the son of Harry Robert and Zelma Harriet (Riddle) Green. Green attended school at Bear Creek and Stockton. He married Debra Jean Billingsley on Saturday, July 18, 1970, in Polk County. Green was a diesel mechanic and worked for Western Company of North America in Oklahoma.
