25-year prison sentence for Hancock County drug dealer

GARNER, Iowa – A Hancock County drug dealer gets a 25-year prison sentence. Jeffrey Paul Reichardt, 52 of Garner, was suspected of bringing methamphetamine into the area roughly every two weeks since May 2020 and selling it to other individuals. Court documents state he was pulled over in Garner on February 2 and a search of his vehicle turned up 28 grams of meth, roughly a gram of marijuana, and a glass drug pipe.

North Iowa Casino Fined for Underage Gambling Violations

A north Iowa casino is one of four gambling facilities in the state that will pay a fine for allowing underage gamblers on the gaming floor. The Diamond Jo Worth Casino in Northwood has agreed to pay a $20,000 penalty for a minor who entered the gambling floor unchallenged. Racing And Gaming Administrator Brian Ohorilko says the minor was on the floor for over two hours and had gambled before the minor was identified by staff at Diamond Jo.

NORTHWOOD, Iowa – One-half of a couple arrested after a toddler ingested methamphetamine pleads guilty while charges are dropped against the other. Cody Henderson, 31 of Manly, and Taylor Henderson, 29 of Manly, were charged with child endangerment. Law enforcement says a 1-year-old female under the care of the Hendersons was taken to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center on July 25, 2020. According to investigators, the child tested positive for meth and ingested the drug at the Henderson’s home in Manly.
