JACKSON, Tenn. — The Salvation Army in Jackson is beginning the “Raise the Roof” campaign, which will allow the building’s roof to be repaired due to some major leaks. Lieutenant Mark Cancia says an upcoming car show, “Cruising For a Cause,” will help to fund the campaign, and provide a safe environment to conduct the numerous efforts they supply in our community.

Paris, Tenn.–Melinda Reid, Marketing Director for Lifeline Blood Services in Jackson stopped by our station last week while visiting Joe Mahan Ford for the blood drive held at their location here in Paris. Reid said, “We are so excited to be getting very close to drawing a name for the winner of the 2019 Ford Ecosport donated by Joe Mahan Ford here in Paris. We appreciate so much their continued support with the Joe Mahan Ford Ecosport giveaway. I can hardly wait to announce the winner of this years vehicle.” The last day to give blood and be entered into the contest is Labor Day, September 5.
