17-year-old Lawrence Township girl missing since Oct. 7

LAWRENCE, Ohio (WOIO) - Lawrence Township Police ask the community to help find 17-year-old Leah Brooke Sunderland after she left her home on Oct. 7 and did not return. Sunderland was described as 5′8″ tall, 138 pounds, has brown hair with blue highlights, and tattoos of a Japanese symbol and a blue butterfly on the left side of her neck.

First Lady Jill Biden Joins New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy At Campaign Rally; Republican Challenger Jack Cittarelli To Be Joined By GOP National Chair

EDISON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy and Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli are on the campaign trail with just a few weeks left until Election Day. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden spent part of Friday in New Jersey, campaigning for Murphy in his bid for re-election. The event at Middlesex College in Edison was to urge voters to head to the polls for early in-person voting, which is being offered for the first time in New Jersey. The rally was said to be one of Biden’s first major campaign stumps since becoming First Lady. “I’m so excited to be here today. Even though I’m a Philly girl, I was born, like Phil said, in Hammonton, New Jersey, so I’m so glad to be back in my other home state,” she said. Meanwhile, Ciattarelli has announced that the GOP’s national chair will join him for a campaign rally next week. Ronna McDaniel will attend an event on Tuesday at the Burlington County GOP headquarters in Medford. The rally is also to support legislative candidates. Early in-person voting begins in New Jersey on Oct. 23.

Football: Shansey leads second half rally to push Burlington City past Florence

Ayden Shansey scored three third quarter touchdowns to lead Burlington City to a 20-7 road win over Florence, in Burlington. The score was 7-0 in Florence’s favor at the half, but Shansey got Burlington City’s offense going by throwing a 23-yard touchdown to Aaron Young in the third quarter to give Burlington City (4-2) a 7-6 lead.
