A single-vehicle crash killed 1 person near Covina (Covina, CA) On Monday night, a single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a driver in the unincorporated area near Covina. As per the initial reports, the deadly crash happened at around 11 p.m. in the unincorporated area near Covina. Investigation of the crash revealed that a 1989 Ford Ranger was speeding while traveling south on the 4200 block of Sunflower Avenue when it collided head-on with a cinder block wall and a metal gate.
