One man seriously injured in Sedalia motorcycle crash

One man is seriously injured after his motorcycle is hit by a pickup truck in Sedalia. The Sedalia Police Department reports the collision happened Wednesday evening on Thompson Boulevard near 10th Street. Police say Treigh Wilborn was headed south on Thompson when a pickup truck, driven by Carlos Lopez, entered his path. Wilborn suffered serious injuries and taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. Wednesday evening, Sedalia Police responded to an injury accident on Thompson Boulevard near West 10th Street. A preliminary investigation revealed a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, driven by Carlos Lopez, entered onto Thompson Boulevard to make a northbound turn from a private drive. The pickup drove into the path of a 2009 Harley Davidson Night Train that was travelling southbound on Thompson Boulevard. The driver of the Harley Davidson was identified as Treigh Wilborn. Wilborn sustained serious injuries from the impact and was transported from the scene by ambulance. The pickup had damage to the left rear side. The motorcycle had extensive damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Warsaw Motorcyclist Injured in Accident in Sedalia

On Wednesday at 5:29 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to an injury accident on Thompson Boulevard near 10th Street. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2018 Chevy Silverado pickup, driven by Carlos Lopez, entered Thompson Boulevard to make a northbound turn from a private drive, and into the path of a southbound 2009 Harley Davidson “Night Train” motorcycle.

Woman’s Ex charged with stalking

What began as an investigation into a stolen vehicle, has resulted in a charge of stalking against a man from Syracuse Missouri. The victim reported that her vehicle was parked at her son’s girlfriend’s home in July when it went missing. When asked who might have taken the car, she said it may have been her ex, later identified as 37-year-old Brandon Evans Tate. The victim said that she had been receiving threatening messages and voice mails from Tate, including claiming that he was going to beat her up and beat her husband up. According to paperwork filed with the courts, the officer claims that Tate poses a danger to the victim because he threatened to find the victim’s home address and inflict bodily harm on her and her husband. Tate is charged with one count of stalking and a warrant was issued for his arrest, with a bond of $50-thousand-dollars surety.

The Sedalia Police Department is asking for help from the public in locating a woman with an active warrant. According to the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit, 37-year-old Amie Calder is wanted for felonies for resisting arrest and driving while revoked. She is also wanted for failure to appear: forgery, making a false report, possession of a forging instrument, and driving while revoked. Calder is five-foot-seven and 140 pounds. The Sedalia Police Department also reports that Calder uses the alias Tonia Daniels.

Windsor Woman Injured After Escape Ends Up in Field

A Windsor woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday night in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2014 Ford Escape, driven by 52-year-old Darci E. Kruse of Windsor, was on Missouri 52 at Richardson Road around 8:36 p.m., when she failed to slow for a stop sign and skidded across Missouri 52, traveled off the roadway, struck an embankment, and ended up in a field, striking a T-post.
