It's full fair ahead in Holmes County

MILLERSBURG A sure sign that life is heading back to normal in Holmes County is the release of the schedule of events for a full Holmes County Fair. “The Holmes County Fair Board is very excited to be hosting a full fair starting Aug. 9, without restrictions, welcoming back grandstand events and amusement rides,” said Holmes County Fair Board President Kerry Taylor. “The full schedule is now completed, and presale tickets for the grandstand and all passes are now on sale.”

MILLERSBURG Two students from Holmes Center for the Arts received scholarships to universities to continue their dance education. Katie Hershberger, daughter of Barbara Miller and John Hershberger, and a graduate of West Holmes High School will attend Ohio Northern University in the fall to major in education and minor in dance.

Bridgeport Woman Strikes Police Cruisers During Pursuit

DOVER, Ohio – A Bridgeport woman is facing possible felony charges after fleeing from police and striking three cruisers, on Friday. Major portion of courthouse restoration project unveiled in Millersburg

MILLERSBURG Justice has been restored in the village. Lady Justice, that is. The symbolic statue was restored to her original roost high atop the Holmes County Courthouse on Thursday, along with the copper cupola, as Midstate Contractors, with help from Barnhart's Crane and Rigging, continued the restoration project of the historic Holmes County building that was constructed in 1885.

Holmes 'kickstarting' expanded, more powerful internet service

MILLERSBURG Holmes County office buildings are in for a major boost when a new wireless system is put in place that will increase the meg capacity from 100 to 10,000. Commissioners met with Blueshift Wireless co-owners Kyle Yoder and Dean Anderson on Monday to discuss the project, which will be broken into four phases that at the end will form a wireless line circle that connects all of the county office buildings in Millersburg, and will be accessible to businesses.

Country Acres Mini Golf expected to open in July in Berlin

BERLIN Matt Keeler and his family wanted to do something fun as a family business.
