Convicted drug dealer charged in 2020 overdose death

HILLSDALE — The Hillsdale County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged 38-year-old Jordan Kenneth Whitney in the August 2020 overdose death of Todd Porter. Porter died from acute drug toxicity on or about Aug. 9, 2020, in southern Hillsdale County, but so f it is unclear how prosecutors connected Whitney to his death.
