Man, Pregnant Woman & Baby Killed In Crash Along Highway 360; Police Investigating

ARLINGTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) — Arlington and Mansfield police are investigating a crash that left a man, pregnant woman and her baby dead Saturday morning. Police said the crash occurred along the frontage road of Highway 360, south of the Ragland Road exit. The baby was delivered at a nearby hospital but did not survive, officials said. One arrest has been made as a result of the crash; however, their identity is unknown at this time. This is a developing story that will be updated.

One dead in fatal motorcycle crash off of Interstate 30 on Saturday morning

Fort Worth police responded to the scene of a crash involving one motorcycle around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday near eastbound Interstate 30. The victim is identified as Rodney Lathom Moore, 46, by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. Moore was found dead at the scene in a grassy area next to the 148 mile marker off the interstate, according to the Medical Examiner’s report.

Man fatally struck while checking on crash victims on I-35 in Dallas

DALLAS - A 23-year-old man was killed while checking on people who were involved in a crash on I-35 in Dallas early Saturday morning. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reports the initial crash happened just before 3 a.m., when 21-year-old Victoria Garner-Council lost control while behind the wheel of a white Mazda on I-35E, near Commonwealth Drive, and hit a guard rail.

Southwest Airlines canceled hundreds of flights over the weekend, blaming the woes on air traffic control issues and weather. The airline canceled more than 1,000 flights, or 28% of its schedule as of 1 p.m. CT Sunday, according to flight tracker FlightAware. The cancellations mark the highest rate by far of the major U.S. airlines.
