Catawba County, Conover approve incentives for Everything Attachments expansion

Catawba County is offering more than $375,000 in economic incentives to a company planning a $20 million expansion in Conover. Everything Attachments, a tractor and parts manufacturer also known as TC Corriher Implement Company, is planning a multi-building expansion over the next five years, according to information from Catawba County.

The following mug shots are taken from the top bond amounts from the week of Aug. 1-7: Dustin William Farley, 30, of Morganton, was charged with felony chop shop activity, felony larceny of property; receiving or possessing stolen goods and misdemeanor resist, delay or obstructing a public officer. He was transported to the Burke County Jail and placed under an $80,000 secured bond.

Couple faces misdemeanor child abuse charges

A couple is facing misdemeanor child abuse charges after an incident last week. Faith Nicole French, 32, of 1877 Duckworth Ave., Morganton, and Jacob Wesley Artrip, 33, of the same address, both were charged with misdemeanor child abuse on Sept. 15, according to a release from the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.
