61 Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in Hempstead Automobile Accident

The Homicide Squad reports on a Vehicular Accident that occurred on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 08:35 AM in Hempstead. According to Detectives, a 43-year-old male operating a 2016 Ford Van was involved in an auto accident with a 2014 Hyundai operated by a 61-year-old female at the intersection of Washington Street and Lent Avenue. The 61-year-old female sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Construction worker plummets four floors off NYC building

A construction worker plummeted four floors to his death at a landmarked building on the Upper West Side on Monday morning, police said. The 36-year-old hardhat was on scaffolding at 263 West End Ave. in Manhattan on the Upper West Side when he tumbled to his death around 11:25 a.m., cops said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It wasn’t clear what type of work the man was doing at the building between West 72nd and West 73rd streets, cops said. NYC mom accused of fatally stabbing 3-year-old and 11-month-old sons

THE BRONX, N.Y. (TCD) -- A 22-year-old mother is accused of stabbing and killing her 3-year-old and 11-month-old sons in a bathtub over the weekend. According to NYPD Deputy Chief Louis De Ceglie, on Saturday, Nov. 26, at approximately 7:20 p.m., officers from the 46th Precinct in the Bronx were dispatched to a location on Echo Place regarding a woman "acting erratic, but nonviolent." She was reportedly trying to burn items in the kitchen.

Body dumped from car found outside Brooklyn industrial building

A corpse was found outside a Bronx industrial building early Monday after someone dumped it out of a car, cops said.  The body was discovered outside a sheet-metal manufacturing building on Oak Point Avenue near Barretto Street in Hunts Point around 3:50 a.m., authorities said.  Police determined that the body had been tossed out of a vehicle and left on the ground.  There were no obvious signs of trauma to the corpse, police said. Authorities could not immediately confirm how the man died or whether the death appeared suspicious.  The city Medical Examiner’s Office will officially confirm the cause of death.

NEW YORK — A mother has been charged with murder in the stabbings of two small children in a Bronx apartment, police said Monday.
