From the National Weather Service • Duluth • September 25, 2022. As the upper level low pressure system that brought widespread rain to the region shifts eastward, the pressure gradient will tighten. As a result, winds are expected to increase by mid-morning topping out with wind gusts from 30 to 35 mph. Winds are expected to decrease late this evening with the exception of the Arrowhead, Lake Superior and portions of NW WI. Be sure to secure loose outdoor objects and your small furry friends who may find it difficult to remain on their feet during strong winds!
