FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A walk home from school turned into a disturbing situation for a girl in Fargo when a man exposed himself to her. Police say it happened on Wednesday, Sept. 15 in the 5000 block of 44th Ave. S., just a few blocks east of Osgood Elementary and a couple blocks west of Kennedy Elementary School.

Judge Clark Pleads Guilty to DUI

FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – A state district court judge in Jamestown, arrested for DUI in Fargo pleaded guilty to the charge. In a statement she issued through her attorney this morning, 52-year-old Cherie Clark said, as an elected official, she is expected to set a positive example and she failed to do so.

North Dakota judge cited for DUI

FARGO (KVRR/KFGO) – A North Dakota district court judge has been cited for DUI after police say she hit two parked cars in downtown Fargo. Police responded to a crash at around 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 11 near the corner of 1st Avenue North and Broadway. The driver was identified as 52 year-old Cherie Clark.

MOORHEAD — A Fargo man has been sentenced to 7 ½ years in prison for sexually abusing two teenage girls and recording the abuse. Clay County Judge Tammy Merkins handed down the sentence on Thursday, Sept. 16, to Dillon Rurup, 23, after he pleaded guilty in August to two felony counts each of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and use of a minor in a sexual performance.

Suspect arrested in Fargo burglary

A burglary suspect is under arrest in Fargo. Police were called to a residence shortly before 10:30 p.m. on a report of a burglary at an abandoned home. When officers arrived on scene they found an occupied home had been entered and the suspect fled the scene. A perimeter was set up and the individual was located a short time later. Police say 29-year old Brandon Pederson of West Fargo was arrested on charges of felony trespassing and unrelated warrants.

(Valley News Live) - Early voting is underway in Minneapolis, a day after the Minnesota Supreme ruled that the votes will be counted on a ballot question over whether the city should replace its police department with a new Department of Public Safety. Supporters of the proposed charter amendment say it’s the only way to fix an intransigent culture of brutal policing that culminated with the death of George Floyd last summer. Opponents say too many questions about how the new department would work remain unanswered. Public safety is also expected to figure prominently in the mayor’s race and the 13 City Council races.

An attorney for Southeast Judicial District Judge Cherie Clark entered a guilty plea on her behalf to a misdemeanor DUI charge in Fargo Municipal Court. Clark did not appear in court.

2 Fargo motorcyclists in stable condition after crashing into car on University Dr.

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Two Fargo motorcyclists are in stable condition after crashing into a car on University Dr. on Wednesday. An investigation has been opened up. Jasen Hernandez, 22, and Krassimira Utecht, 32, were on University Dr. S. on a motorcycle and struck the driver side of a car. Both Hernandez and Utecht suffered injuries and were taken to the Sanford Medical Center. The 16-year-old girl driver and the 12-year-old girl passenger in the car were not injured.
