WAYNESVILLE — Patricia Ann Mullen, 88, of Haywood County, passed away on June 14, 2021, of natural causes. A native of Carnegie, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Henry A. Poppelreiter and Anna Lutz Poppelreiter. Patricia was preceded in death by her late husband, John R. Mullen and son, Thomas C. Mullen. Together Patricia and John ran a successful building contracting company for 51 years. The couple spent their leisure time enjoying skating, bowling and golf.
