Large Amounts of Cocaine Found with New York Man along I-80

TURBOT TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Milton state troopers are now sharing details after finding a New York man with a large amount of cocaine along I-80 in July. Troopers say arrested was 29-year-old Jeffrey Dukes of the Bronx, NY. He’s now jailed at Northumberland County Prison on $150,000 bail.

PalPark Officer Dragged, Perps Sought In Traffic Stop

SEE ANYTHING? A Palisades Park police officer was dragged by an SUV when the driver deliberately hit the gas during an overnight traffic stop, authorities said. The officer spotted the Jeep with its headlights off near the corner of East Central Boulevard and 6th Street around 2 a.m. Friday, said Capt. Anthony Espino, the officer in charge of the department.

NEW ROCHELLE – Two people were arrested by New Rochelle Police late Wednesday afternoon after a report of two men breaking into a FedEx mailbox. They were located a short time later with several hundred thousand dollars in checks and a large number of opened assorted mail and FedEx shipping envelopes.

Anti-abortion protestors sentenced for trespassing

Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah announced that three men affiliated with the anti-abortion group Red Rose Rescue, including two that live out of state, were sentenced on Aug. 2, to three months in jail following their criminal conviction for trespassing at All Women’s Health and Medical Services in White Plains. Judge John Collins of White Plains City Court imposed fines and court surcharges totaling $750 for each defendant due on or before.
