Two children killed in crash on I-81 in Cumberland County: state police

Two children were killed Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on a Cumberland County stretch of Interstate 81, according to Pennsylvania State Police. State police said the children, who have not been identified, were traveling north through Silver Spring Township around 3:39 p.m. when their driver Gregory A. Nornhold, 35, of Mechanicsburg, crossed the grass median and hit two southbound cars.

Coroner IDs man, woman killed in central Pa. crash

The Adams County Coroner’s Office has identified a 32-year-old man and 22-year-old woman who died on impact in a Friday night crash outside a Berwick Township restaurant. Authorities said Thomasville resident Michael Green was driving a motorcycle east on York Road (Route 30) at about 10 p.m. when he hit a Kia Forte driven by Karigen Emig, of Gettysburg.

Motorcyclist killed in central Pa. crash: coroner

A motorcyclist died Tuesday night at a York County hospital after crashing into the back of a vehicle hours earlier, authorities said. Coroner Pamela Gay said around 8:30 p.m. the man — who was wearing a helmet — failed to stop at the traffic light at East Market and Vernon streets in Springettsbury Township.

Residential Burglary – On July 27, 2021 sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., PSP Jonestown was dispatched to the 00 block of Creek Dr. regarding a burglary. Upon troopers’ arrival, they observed vehicle parts to be missing from the associated vehicle. No suspects are known at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown. Two and four-year-old killed during multi-vehicle crash on I-81 in Mechanicsburg

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Two juveniles were pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash that closed all southbound lanes of I-81. According to Pennsylvania State Police, three vehicles crashed near mile marker 54 along I-81. Police say the juveniles, aged two and four-years-old, were riding northbound in a Volkswagon Tiguan when it crossed the grass median into the southbound lane colliding with a Ford F-150 and Ford Focus.
