Reducing mosquitoes around your home and property

ST. LOUIS, MO—The Department of Public Works is in charge of the City of St. Charles' mosquito control program. All public streets in the city are sprayed regularly with an ultra-low volume fogger/sprayer to treat adult mosquitoes. The application depends on the weather and will not take place if there is rain, cold temperatures, or winds over 10 mph. Adult mosquito treatment is only a temporary solution. The more effective solution is eliminating breeding places and preventing mosquitoes while they are still in the water.
