Logan Byers of Hardin County is an official inaugural member of the Southeastern Illinois College Falcons Faction of Gamers (FoG), the new college esports team. “Logan is a great addition to the team and I look forward to seeing him compete in tournaments. I believe he is going to bring a lot of positive energy to the team,” said esports head coach, Jason Fitzgerald.

Oak restoration project set to receive funding

An oak ecosystem restoration project proposed by the Shawnee Resource Conservation and Development Area, SRCD, will receive $1.1 million in funding over the next five years.
