Animal shelter’s fall fundraiser set

The theme will be fall instead of Mardi Gras, but the idea is still the same: to raise money to continue the care of stray cats and dogs in West Point and Clay County. "We had the Mardi Gras Fundraiser planned for February, but that wasn't possible. Then we wanted to do an Independence Day event, but things didn't work out the way we wanted them to,” West Point Clay County Animal Shelter Director Neely Bryan said. “So now, we are going to celebrate fall, pumpkins, cool weather and fun with a Fall Beer and Wine Tasting event."
