State Police release name of deceased in Saturday Hedgesville accident

HEDGESVILLE — West Virginia State Police identified the deceased in a three vehicle traffic accident that occurred Saturday evening in Hedgesville. According to a press release sent by Sergeant L.A. Faircloth, at approximately 9:23 p.m. Saturday, Trooper Bean, Trooper Hott and Sergeant Lahman of the West Virginia State Police Martinsburg Detachment responded to the 8000 block of Hedgesville Road for the three-vehicle accident.

Two dead after Route 30 crash near New Oxford

Both drivers died Friday when a motorcycle struck the driver side of a car on York Road (U.S. Route 30) about 1.5 miles east of New Oxford. Declared dead at the scene were Karigen Emig, 22, of Gettysburg, and Michael Green, 32, of Thomasville, according to Adams County Chief Deputy Coroner Francis Dutrow.

WILLIAMSPORT, Md. (WDVM) — A Hagerstown man is dead after crashing into a tree on Lappans Road in Washington County. Just before 7 a.m. Sunday morning, Maryland State Troopers from the Hagerstown Barrack responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Lappans Road near Kendle Road, east of Williamsport. When state police first arrived on the scene, they found Cregory Knight, 65, of Hagerstown, dead with his motorcycle crashed into a tree.
