200,000 Coloradans Getting Check Because CenturyLink Overcharged Customers

DENVER (CBS4) — More than 200,000 Coloradans will soon receive checks in the mail from a 2019 settlement with CenturyLink — because the company deceptively overcharged consumers for services. Amache, Colorado’s WWII Japanese prison camp, closer to becoming National Historic Site

WASHINGTON (KDVR) — The Colorado site where the U.S. imprisoned Japanese Americans during World War II is one step closer to becoming a National Historic Site. The Amache National Historic Site Act passed the U.S. House on Thursday in a 416-2 vote, according to the National Parks Conservation Association. U.S. Reps. Joe Neguse and Ken Buck introduced the bipartisan bill in April.

Admission Is Free At All Colorado State Parks On Monday

DENVER (CBS4) – Colorado Parks and Wildlife is celebrating Colorado Day with free admission to state parks on Monday. The tradition falls on the first Monday of August each year. All other fees still apply, including camping reservations, boat and off-highway vehicle registrations, and hunting and fishing licenses.
