Drug possession charges, including two felony counts and one misdemeanor, have been filed in Grundy County Circuit Court against 28-year-old Benjamin Keith Leach of Cameron. Documents report Leach was accused on April 2nd of possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC wax. The misdemeanor count is for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use, prior offender. The documents describe it as smoking pipes.

Trenton resident Jessie Lee Ingraham has been sentenced to prison after he pleaded guilty to a drug charge and admitted to a violation of conditions of probation. In Division One of Grundy County Circuit Court, Ingraham was sentenced to a seven-year term with the Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance as of March 25th.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of three individuals on May 12th on capias warrants. The warrant for 42-year-old Lucas Griffin of Columbia was for an alleged probation violation on original felony charges of violation of an order of protection for an adult and third-degree assault involving a special victim.

A Kansas City man was arrested by State Troopers in Grundy County. Thursday night, Troopers arrested 46-year-old Nathan R Clark for alleged DWI – prior offender, driving while revoked or suspended – 2nd or 3rd offense, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. Grundy County Ambulance pay and retention were discussed with the Grundy County Commission on May 10th. Spokesperson Jenny Hunter led the discussion on behalf of the ambulance. She said the meeting was being held to bring awareness to the community. Others in attendance were Grundy County Ambulance Director Sarah Porter, other ambulance personnel, Trenton Fire Chief Brandon Gibler, and community members.

LAREDO, MO – A Trenton teen was injured Wednesday evening in an accident in Grundy County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 16-year old male driver was westbound on Route E, 2 miles northwest of Laredo. The driver negotiated a curve in the roadway but then travelled off the north side of the roadway where he struck a ditch before overturning several times.

A Trenton man has pleaded guilty to an amended charge and had another charge dismissed in Grundy County Circuit Court. The Grundy County Clerk’s Office reports Matthew Waddle was originally charged with two counts of misdemeanor second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, stemming from June 2020. The charges were amended to two counts of misdemeanor peace disturbance.

A Wyoming man was arrested Monday after he refused to leave a Trenton Business. Twenty-seven-year-old Zachary Robert Dallman was arrested and taken to the Grundy County Detention Center.
