Flooding of roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1055 AM CDT, doppler radar indicated rain that at times is very heavy with near 2 inch per hour rainfall rates, especially in parts of LaSalle and Grundy Counties. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain with scattered higher totals have fallen across a large part of north central Illinois. - Even though rain is diminishing in intensity for some locations, given how much rain had fell since early this morning, rapid rises may continue on creeks and streams.
