Reedsville Driver Finishes Runnerup at WIR in Kaukauna

Defending Super Late Model champion Bobby Kendall of Montello outdistanced the field at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna to win the feature race last night. Kendall was able to sustain a five-car length advantage over Reedsville’s Maxwell Schultz, who took home second place money in the Super Late Model event.

Fox River Classic Conference baseball awards released

BROWN COUNTY – With the recent completion of the baseball season, the Fox River Classic Conference (FRCC) released its awards. Locally, Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay Preble, Green Bay Southwest, Notre Dame Academy and Pulaski compete in the FRCC. Bay Port won the league with a 17-1 record.

Area baseball teams split Thursday

Both the Green Bay Booyah and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers played opponents who got off to a fast start, but only the Green Bay Booyah could take over on Thursday night. The Wisconsin Timber-Rattlers fell 6-4 to the South Bend Cubs but the Booyah beat down the Battle Creek Bombers, 12-4. Both teams will be back to face the same opponent on Friday.
