A Tribune man was killed, and an infant seriously injured early Monday morning when the car they were riding in ran off K-96 in Greeley County and overturned. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Arrianna Patterson, 20, of Tribune, was driving a 2011 Kia Rio westbound on K-96 about 5 a.m. when the vehicle went across the highway and into the left ditch near County Road 24. It struck a culvert and overturned, then rolled an unknown number of times before coming to rest on its top.

A 43-year-old Tribune man is dead after a crash early Monday morning on Kansas Highway 96 in Greeley County. Authorities say Derek Longsine was a passenger in a 2011 Kia Rio that went left of center as it was westbound on the highway and drove off the road into a ditch around 5 a.m. The Kia “collided with a culvert and overturned, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a rest on its top,” according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash report.
