Homeowner Holds Burglars at Gunpoint After Firing Shot in Air

Early Tuesday morning, Grant County man holds burglars at bay. Homeowner fires round into air, holds suspects at gunpoint. Around 3 AM Tuesday morning, the Grant County Sheriff's Office got a 9-1-1 call from a homeowner near Mattawa. The landowner said he'd received an alert on his phone from his security system about an intrusion into one of his shops on his farm.

Mattawa Man Holds Two Alleged Thieves at Gunpoint

A property owner held two men at gunpoint early Tuesday after he reportedly caught them attempting to burglarize his shop near Mattawa. KPQ news partner iFiberOne News reports Grant County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of Road 23 Southwest at around 3 a.m. after receiving a report of a burglary in progress.
