Patricia Lee “Patty” Bull Adams, 79, of Buckhannon, died Friday, September 24, 2021, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born at home on July 29, 1942, in Walkersville, WV, a daughter of the late Opha and Susie Jane Alkire Bull. On August 12, 1978, she was united in marriage to Ronald Gale Adams, who preceded her in death on December 8, 2010. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son Michael L. Bull, a brother-in-law John N. Fetty, Sr., and a nephew James N. “Jimmy” Fetty.

Harrison County residents admit to drug charges

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – Two Shinnston, West Virginia, residents have admitted to methamphetamine charges, Acting United States Attorney Randolph J. Bernard announced. Larry Thomas Gregory, II, 44, and Angela Chapman, 33, each pleaded guilty today to one count of “Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or more of Methamphetamine.” Gregory and Chapman admitted to having more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in February 2020 in Harrison County.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A report from WVU Medicine officials says 40% of all coronavirus patients in the state are in a WVU Medicine facility. In Morgantown, Ruby Memorial Hospital reports 119 coronavirus patients with no beds available. The staff at Ruby Memorial Hospital started a wait list Friday afternoon. Data from the hospital shows 61 of 71 available ventilators in use.
