New details in Grady County fatal crash

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a multi-car accident in Grady County happened before 9 p.m. on July 29 about a half-mile south of Chickasha. They said Samantha Gunroe of Amber was headed east on US-81 when she crossed in front of another driver, causing the car to hit hers on the driver side.

The Grady County Sheriff's Office reports that Nicole Stowers and Michael Ramsay were arrested on charges of porch piracy/larceny, identity theft, forgery, and eluding.

High speed chase up to 125 mph ends in Grady County

A super high speed chase that began in Mustang ended just north of Chickasha on Tuesday afternoon. A live broadcast from News 9 showed patrol cars from several agencies chasing a silver sedan down US-81, reaching speeds of 125 mph. The car was eventually stopped due to a stop stick on the roadway. The broadcast showed the car pull over to the side and officers approached the vehicles with guns drawn before making two arrests.
