Thank goodness someone saw these two kids in the backseat at an Oklahoma City Walmart on Sunday. On Sunday in Oklahoma City, temperatures peaked at around 94 degrees. Around 2:30 in the afternoon, a mother walked into a local Walmart to do her shopping. Leaving two small children in the backseat with the doors locked and windows rolled up. Some Good Samaritans spotted the small children and alerted Walmart security.

Truck accident sends Chickasha youth to hospital

An injury collision occurred in Kay County near Braman that involved a Chickasha woman and a 15 year old youth according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.  Lisa K. Officials Release New Information On Grady Co. Deputy Shooting, Woman Charged

Investigators have released more details about a barricaded subject in Grady County Friday afternoon. The incident left a Grady Co. Deputy and civilian with gunshot wounds. Grady County Undersheriff Gary Boggess said the incident began the night before. Rachel Clay and the civilian shot had met the night before, but it wasn’t until Friday morning that she began acting irrationally.

Oklahoma college offering scholarship to give more opportunities to future teachers

ALVA, Okla. — Northwest Oklahoma State University officials hope a new Oklahoma Future Teacher Scholarship and Employment Incentive Program will make a huge impact. "When you have a teacher that's ready to teach from Day 1, that's what makes the difference," said Jen Oswald, chair of the division of education at Northwest Oklahoma State University. "I have 40 of them that we're putting out this year. And those 40 of them will go out, and they will each have a classroom full of 30 kids every year. And they'll impact those kids every year."
