Two teen members of NC indigenous tribe missing in northern Georgia, officials say

Two teenage members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians have been missing since June 15 when they were last seen in northern Georgia, officials say. Tristin Lossie, 14, and William Ellwood, 15, were last seen at around 6:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday, June 15, in Mitchell, a town about 120 miles southeast of Atlanta and about 50 miles west of the border with South Carolina, the Glascock Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Two teens missing from Glascock County

GLASCOCK COUNTY, Ga. (WFXG) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public's help to find two missing teens. Fifteen-year-old William Ellwood and fourteen-year-old Tristin Lossie were last seen at around 6:30 a.m. June 15 on Cedar Rd. in Mitchell, Georgia. Law enforcement believe neither were abducted and that they may be traveling together in an unknown vehicle.

Boyen named to ACCG board of managers

Glascock County Commission Chairman Lori Boyen has been appointed to the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) Board of Managers. Boyen will represent the ACCG Retirement Services’ Defined Contribution Board of Trustees, which she will also chair. Daphne was born in Gibson, Georgia on December 4, 1940, grew up in Glascock County and Warren County, Georgia but has lived most of her life in Thomson, Georgia. She was Christian by faith and a member of Oasis Church. She especially loved her family and spent her life tending to her family.
