Police Department to Host Free Community Event National Night Out

The community is invited to join the Garden Grove Police Department (GGPD) at the annual National Night Out, a free community-building event featuring family activities, giveaways, live demonstrations, and raffle prizes on Tuesday, August 2, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will take place in front of Garden Grove Police Headquarters, located at 11301 Acacia Parkway.

Grant Funding Available for Home Repair Program

The City of Garden Grove announces new grant funding for the Home Repair Program to assist qualified low-income Garden Grove residents receive up to $5,000 for home improvements. The grant does not need to be repaid to the City. The homeowner must contribute a minimum of $500 towards the project. Home repairs that exceed $5,000 will not be considered for the program.
