Land sale near Dr Pepper Ballpark would pave way for office, entertainment project in Frisco

Frisco is looking to sell land near Dr Pepper Ballpark, which could eventually lead to thousands of square feet of office and entertainment space. On Sept. 21, Frisco City Council will consider approving a more than $19 million land sale to Alterra Capital Management. Alterra would acquire 14.6 acres of land just south of Dr Pepper Ballpark, which is commonly known as Pennant Park, city documents said.

DALLAS — A fund backed by Dallas-based Nicholas Residential and Hughes Capital Partners have purchased Bellevue at The Bluffs, a 473-unit apartment community located in the Bluffview neighborhood of Dallas. Transwestern was awarded a new leasing assignment for the Class A medical office buildings at 4401 and 4461 Coit Road in Frisco. Totaling 160,000 square feet, the buildings are connected to Baylor Scott & White Centennial Hospital and feature air-conditioned skyways. Real estate company Compass acquires LegacyTexas Title

Real estate technology company Compass announced Sept. 14 that it has acquired LegacyTexas Title, a title insurance company with offices across Dallas-Fort Worth. The acquisition will strengthen Compass’ title and escrow portfolio and enable further integration of the company’s brokerage and related services, according to a company release. Compass has offices across DFW, including in Plano, Southlake, Highland Village and Frisco.
