Five pinned into vehicle, one dead after crash in northeast Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — A person is dead after an early-morning crash that pinned five into a vehicle in northeast Fresno Monday, investigators say. At approximately 1:00 a.m. on Monday, Fresno police were dispatched to the area of Barstow and Millbrook avenues in northeast Fresno where they say they found a vehicle that had been in a collision. According to emergency personnel, five people were pinned into the back seat of the crashed vehicle.

On Thursday, September 16, 2021 at about 4:49 pm, Clovis Police Department Dispatch received a 911 emergency telephone call about a motor vehicle crash. On arrival responding Officers noted a crash involving a motorcycle and a truck. The driver of the motorcycle, a male subject, had sustained severe facial and other physical injuries. The male was immediately transported to Plain Regional Medical Center due to his condition.

Large fire burns off Highway 41 near Fresno as 30,000-square-foot building goes up in flames

Fire crews are on the scene of a large commercial fire burning off of Highway 41 near Avenue 11 just north of Fresno. The 30,000-square-foot building used by Public Auction R Us was fully involved in flames Thursday afternoon, according to the Madera County Fire Department.
